    1. This Notice may be cited as the National Security (Classified Matters) (Authorised Officer) Notice.

    2. The Chief Secretary to the President, President’s Office, is hereby appointed as authorised officer for the purposes of declaring any information or thing to be classified matter.

THE NATIONAL SECURITY (CLASSIFIED MATTERS) NOTICE

(Section 2(1))

    1. This Notice may be cited as the National Security (Classified Matters) Notice.

    2. All documents including letters, and the contents of all documents including letters–

    (a)    addressed by or on behalf of the Government of the United Republic or any specified authority; or

    (b)    prepared by or on behalf of the Government of the United Republic or a specified authority; or

    (c)    addressed to the Government or any officer of the Government in his official capacity or a specified authority or any officer of a specified authority in his official capacity,

    2.
