No. 424 of 1986\n<\/p>\n 1.<\/b> This Notice may be cited as the Economic and Organised Crime Control (Authorisation to Dispose of Certain Property) Notice.\n<\/p>\n 2.<\/b> The officers specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby authorised to exercise the powers conferred upon the Inspector General of Police by section 23(1) and (2) in respect of the disposal of property seized under the Act or put in evidence in proceedings before the court in terms of the Act.\n<\/p>\n SCHEDULE\n<\/p>\n Regional Police Commanders\n<\/p>\n Regional Crime Officers\n<\/p>\n District Police Commanders\n<\/p>\n <\/a>THE ECONOMIC OFFENCES (SPECIFICATION OF OFFICERS EXERCISING CONSENT) NOTICE<\/a>\n<\/p>\n (Section 26(2))\n<\/p>\n G.N. No. 191 of 1984\n<\/p>\n 1.<\/b> This Notice may be cited as the Economic Offences (Specification of Officers Exercising Consent) Notice.\n<\/p>\n {mprestriction ids=”1,2,3″}<\/p>\n 2.<\/b> In this Notice–\n<\/p>\n “Act”<\/b> means the Economic and Organised Crime Control Act function a1(msg) { myWindow=window.open(”,”,’width=117,height=69,left=400 ,scrollbars=1,top=400,screenX=400,screenY=100′);myWindow.document.write(msg);}*<\/a>;\n<\/p>\n “State Attorney-in-Charge”<\/b> means the State Attorney appointed by the Attorney-General to perform in respect of a zonal or regional office of the Attorney-General’s Chambers the functions of a State-Attorney-in-Charge.\n<\/p>\n 3.<\/b> (1) The protection of economic offences specified in Part I of the Schedule to this Notice shall require the consent of the Director of Public Prosecutions.\n<\/p>\n (2) The power of consenting to the prosecution of economic offences specified in Part II of the Schedule to this Notice is hereby delegated to and may be exercised by a State Attorney-in-charge for the zone or region in which the economic offence took place.\n<\/p>\n SCHEDULE\n<\/p>\n PART I 1. All other economic offences specified in the First Schedule to the Act, other than the economic offences described in PART I of this Schedule.\n<\/p>\n <\/a>THE APPOINTMENT OF PUBLIC PROSECUTORS NOTICE<\/a>\n<\/p>\n (Section 27(3)(a))\n<\/p>\n G.Ns.
