    1. <\/b>This Notice may be cited as the National Security (Classified Matters) (Authorised Officer) Notice.\n<\/p>\n

    2. <\/b>The Chief Secretary to the President, President’s Office, is hereby appointed as authorised officer for the purposes of declaring any information or thing to be classified matter.\n<\/p>\n

    (a)    addressed by or on behalf of the Government of the United Republic or any specified authority; or\n<\/p>\n

    (b)    prepared by or on behalf of the Government of the United Republic or a specified authority; or\n<\/p>\n

    (c)    addressed to the Government or any officer of the Government in his official capacity or a specified authority or any officer of a specified authority in his official capacity,\n<\/p>\n
