    2.<\/b> The powers and duties conferred upon the Commissioner for Mines by the enactments specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby conferred upon the Commissioner for Mineral Resources.\n<\/p>\n

    1.<\/b> This Notice may be cited as the Transfer of Powers and Duties (The Chief Medical Officer, Ministry of Health) Notice.\n<\/p>\n

    2.<\/b> The functions conferred upon the Chief Medical Officer, Ministry of Health under the Written Laws specified in the First Schedule hereto, shall be exercised by the Director of Hospital Services.\n<\/p>\n

    3.<\/b> The functions conferred upon the Chief Medical Officer, Ministry of Health, under the Written Laws specified in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be exercised by the Director of Preventive Services.\n<\/p>\n

    4.<\/b> The functions conferred upon the Chief Medical Officer, Ministry of Health, under the Written Laws specified in the Third Schedule hereto, shall be exercised by the Director of Manpower Development.\n<\/p>\n

<\/a>THE TRANSFER OF POWERS AND DUTIES (MINISTRY OF LANDS OFFICERS) NOTICE<\/a>\n<\/p>\n

G.N. No. 35 of 1974\n<\/p>\n

    The offices described in the first column of the Schedule hereto are abolished and–\n<\/p>\n

    (a)    the functions previously attaching to any such office shall vest in the office specified opposite thereto in the second column of the said Schedule;\n<\/p>\n

    (b)    every reference in any written law to any office specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto, or to the holder of such office, shall be construed as a reference to the office specified opposite thereto in the second column or, as the case may be, to the holder of such office.\n<\/p>\n
