<\/a>THE REGISTRATION OF DOCUMENTS RULES<\/a>\n<\/p>\n

(Section 47)\n<\/p>\n

1.    Title\n<\/p>\n

    These Rules may be cited as the Registration of Documents Rules.\n<\/p>\n

2.    Attestation clauses\n<\/p>\n

    (1) Every person attesting the execution of a document of which registration is compulsory under the provisions of the Registration of Documents Ordinance shall sign an attestation clause in one of the forms contained in the First Schedule hereto, whichever may be appropriate.\n<\/p>\n

    (2) When in the opinion of the Registrar the signature of any person is not clearly legible, the Registrar may require the name of such person to be inserted in the attestation clause in legible characters.\n<\/p>\n

3.    Forms of caveat and notice\n<\/p>\n

    Every caveat and every notice of the presentation for registration in the registry of documents of an document executed by any person named in a caveat shall be in the appropriate form contained in the Second Schedule hereto.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

4.    Hours of business\n<\/p>\n

    The Registry of Documents shall be open to the public daily, except on Sundays and public holidays within the meaning of the Public Holidays Act, between the following hours–\n<\/p>\n
